A Legacy of Innovation in Concrete
Our work represents the third generation of concrete innovation in the Kerkstra family. A solid foundation, now with a new mission to unleash the power of all concrete can do.
In 1962, Larry Kerkstra founded what would become Kerkstra Precast: a company built on precision, reliability, and an exacting standard for concrete production. Over the following decades, the operation grew into one of the Midwest's most respected precast manufacturers, producing commercial and industrial buildings across the region.
His son, Greg Kerkstra, now CEO, deepened that foundation through highly technical and effective processes perfected to create countless commercial and industrial buildings throughout the Midwest.
Today, Nathan Kerkstra, President, carries the family's legacy into new territory. The material is the same, yet the method is entirely new. Modern capabilities combined with timeless precision, integrity, and craftsmanship.

Our method of additive manufacturing is dramatically more sustainable and climate conscious than other methods of concrete production.
Every time we print, the material we use either ends up in a product or recycled for later use. That means essentially zero material goes to waste. Compare this to traditional concrete formwork, which includes large amounts of waste materials and resources.
